Upcoming Workshop: Mastering Mindfulness for OCD

Do you struggle with persistent and unwanted thoughts, images, feelings and sensations that you spend your time and energy trying to resist, control, and suppress, only to find that you’re now thinking more of the very thought you’re trying to get rid of?

Are there activities you avoid, like sex and intimacy, for fear that these thoughts and images will arise because, when they do, you don’t know how to manage them?

Despite a logical understanding that mental compulsions are a choice, do you struggle with stopping them in real time because they are so habitual and you lack awareness of them?

Would you like to struggle less with your mind?

Mindfulness skills changed the course of my OCD recovery journey and I can’t wait to share them with you!

In the hour presentation, I will address:

  • What mindfulness is and how it can be used with or without guided meditation

  • How mindfulness can aid OCD treatment

  • Managing intrusive thoughts, images, feelings, and sensations with mindfulness aka acceptance

  • Creating awareness of habitual mental compulsions

  • Tools to put mindfulness skills into practice

  • Mindfulness as acceptance

  • And more!

This workshop is 1 hour of presentation and 30 minutes of a live Q&A.

If you cannot attend live, you can purchase a ticket and receive a copy of the workshop recording. Everyone who purchases a ticket will receive the recording.

The Zoom link will be sent to your email one hour prior to the workshop on Saturday, June 14.
