Upcoming Workshop: The Trauma of OCD
Are you traumatized by your experience of OCD? By the ever-present onslaught of disturbing thoughts and images that oppose your desires and identity? By compulsions that may have inflicted physical harm? Are you hesitant to call your OCD a trauma because you have been told that it doesn’t classify as one?
Do you want to better understand the similarities and differences between OCD and trauma? Do you want to learn how to treat the trauma from OCD?
If so, this workshop is for YOU!
In the hour presentation, we will address:
OCD as a trauma
Trauma vs. OCD (& the overlap)
Treating the trauma from OCD
Can ERP be traumatic?
Grieving what’s lost to OCD
Traumatic compulsions
And more!
The first hour is a presentation and the last 30 minutes of the workshop is comprised of a Q&A.
If you cannot attend live, you can purchase a ticket and receive a copy of the workshop recording. Everyone who purchases a ticket will receive the recording.
The Zoom link will be sent to your email one hour prior to the workshop on Saturday, February 21.
